The beer garden
It is a hedgehog, they can scurry quick enough.
Eyesight appalling but good hearing and sense of taste so can normally identify if you're stood very close
If you keep downwind and sit still then they can be oblivious to you being sat out with them.

Thanks. A quick google suggests cats don't normally attack hedgehogs.
Spending all my time sitting in front of a computer trading probably explains why I've forgotten what a hedgehog looks like (I remember them as tortious-like animals with big spikes), but the cat's probably already met the hedgehog.
Here's a surprisingly relevant bit of my own "research" (aka procrastination) I was doing recently when I didn't feel like fixing an annoying bug in my trading code: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zP5KaKrcQF4

Put some cat food out for them, they love iams
Don't try and handle them through, wild ones carry a lot of fleas
My wife and daughter have had several African pygmy hedgehog's, they are flea free and safe to handle they do make go pets if your into those sorts of animals.

It was probably just a male passing through, if you see it again then its probably a female looking for a place to nest and in a few months you'll be a proud surrogate father to a bunch of hoglets
Just used my toothbrush to clean out the washing machine soap compartment.
Then I thought it would be a good idea to check I've got another toothbrush.
Quickly realised it wasn't, but it would have been before I used my wasted my last toothbrush.

Intended to cook a chicken dinner tonight. Chicken breasts smelt off. Ditched them and chucked a pizza in the oven. Set the oven timer, didn't hear the high-pitched alarm with my headphones on, but the cat certainly did and stuck her claws in my leg to alert me.

Poor reporting from Sky in their on-the-hour headlines: "A disgrace and embarrassment". Donald Trump's reaction to his ban on Facebook.
Is Sky saying Trump's reaction is a disgrace and embarrassment, Trump saying Facebook is a disgrace and embarrassment, or Trump calling himself a disgrace and embarrassment for being banned from Facebook, which is by far the most valid?

To many, he's a hero.
