Friday night fun. From this evenings flight. Guess this racecourse - hint it’s currently on a break.
Australian racing
no i just missed, the suspension might have been slightly early. Saw back bets coming in at slightly higher price than 7,8, I think most times value to follow the fast picture guys if the price is still high or there is a larger amount blocking the price going down
Is that a case of the fast pic guys getting it wrong?rik wrote: ↑Sat May 08, 2021 8:52 amno i just missed, the suspension might have been slightly early. They will get it wrong plenty of times of times if the price is still 7.8, unless they are betting on the finish line they are just punting as well and have to take some chances to get the good prices from the similar or next fastest guy
Even my audio is like 4 seconds behind I guess the more the commentator is screaming about a close race and the more unique bets there are being placed on a long odds runner the more sure you can be its within a shot or in this case higher 12% chance
These back bets arent cross matched so at least one person actively picking out the long odds runner and placing several bets thinking it has a chance, in this case there was a semi big lay bet at 7.8 stopping the price moving down, if your one of the last to get matched on that you can imagine your bet must be big value as without it price would be odds on in no time.
There might be occasions longer out where when a smart bettor leaves a larger stake in the market at higher odds because he noticed firsts signs of tiring or certain of a horse not being a stayer but 5-10 seconds out you dont leave high odds lay bets in the market especially not higher amounts thats guaranteed stupid stakes
