hi
as per attached pic, i expected to profit by either £2.04 or £2.84 from a traded race. Betfair seem to think it is -17p
before i go back and remonstrate with BF - has this happened before to anyone ? or does anyone have any idea why ?
Thanks
Steve
HELP - is this a Betfair error ?
probably a horse withdrawn and a reduction factor applied.
thanks for that - and I understand that a WD horse affects the the price - which ties up with this old post - viewtopic.php?t=7968
i was just a bit confused as to why BA screen - was showing green on either a win or a loose.
Never mind guess i need to be mindful in future

If there's a discrepancy between your Betfair and BA PL you may need to close and restart BA to rectify it. I can't remember what the issue was but it happens occasionally.stevemuk wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 4:47 pmthanks for that - and I understand that a WD horse affects the the price - which ties up with this old post - viewtopic.php?t=7968

When you have a very late withdrawal where the horses are nearly all loaded, Betfair don't have time to reset the market. You could then have a situation where you appear to be in profit but could end up with less profit or even a loss once they apply the rule 4. The only exception to this would be bets placed in-running after the 'off'.stevemuk wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 4:47 pmthanks for that - and I understand that a WD horse affects the the price - which ties up with this old post - viewtopic.php?t=7968
