Hello everybody.

I need help as I am starting betangel today and I am not able to trade the way I would like.

My strategy is as follows:

1) Lay to a particular horse.

2) I need the software to close the position with a 4% green or a 15% red.

I'm configuring it as follows:

- Offset bet with greening and stop.

- Offset 4%
- Stop trigger 15%
- Place up to 10%

Place fill or kill disabled.

Offset batch 1

Normal Display Odds.

Staking method by liability (lay only)

--------------

However, he is not trading correctly.

See:

10/06/2021 18:27:26: $ 9.09 Lay bet placed on Tenaya Canyon at 12. [Liability staking]. Fully matched at 12. Ref: 10004 ( Offsetting by 4% [A] with greening. Stop at 15% [A]. Place stop at 10% [A] )
10/06/2021 18:27:26: $8.73 Back bet placed on Tenaya Canyon at 12.5. Entirely unmatched when it initially reached the market. Ref: 10005
6/10/2021 18:28:01: Stop triggered. Modify bet 10005 from 8.73 @ 12.5 to 10.91 @ 10.5 New Ref: 10007 and Additional $ 2.18 bet placed as Ref: 10006
6/10/2021 18:28:01: Stop triggered. Modify bet 10006 from 2.18 @ 12.5 to 2.18 @ 10.5 New Ref: 10008

Can anyone help me configure it the right way?

For your stop loss you should be using 'place at' equal to your 'trigger at' or further away if you want to increase the chances of it being matched

The way you have it is going to need to price to come back in your favour 5% to match it once placed

Watch the grenning.

it's not correct.

He put the start odd at 4.7.

However, 4.7 does not give the 4% profit.

That is my problem.

Its the percentage in movement of price - not your profit

Is there a way to set the green taking into account that my profit is a percentage of my stake?

You'd need to create a simple rule and run it either in Guardian in the background or as a safety servant

If you are changing your stakes and therefore can't just set a single profit/loss target amount you'd need to add some more rules to calculate your stake used on the fly, there's a ready-made Servant here that will do that
