The right one won for me in this case if bets are void. Hope nobody else has suffered as a result?

19:10 seemed to be OK, Problem seems to have been turning the 19:00 in play.

in that situation I've seen them leave it and say the prices were largely the same when they did turn it in play but 2 monites in worth of bets had been matched this time so I have no idea what they will do!

Odd, if never went in play and I couldn't place bets to exit my open positions. Is that what you saw?

I could still place bets no problem. I know because I greened up in play. It was only because I greened up so fast I realised it wasn;t turned in play. There was plenty getting matched too on the ladder

Looks like they swept this one under the carpet.

I have finally recieved a reply from betfair for the 13th of may last race @ dundulk regarding the API returning junk informations on matched and unmatched odds . Betfair replyed only yesterday after they recieved the evidence that the problem was within BETANGEL software. I have asked them to make a proper statement for their suggestions but, they refused to do so and decided to investigate further about the problem. I have today recieved their final e-mail..here what they said:

Thank you for your e-mail.

I have asked our Betfair Developers Program who deal with our API services and they confirm there was no issues from our end that they are aware of and advised that we raise it with our technical services department which was done in the first place, this indicated that there was no issue on our API. I would advise checking with your software provider to see if they had any issues from their end.

I beg to differ! I always follow up when there is a problem because it's just as important to me and our customers that we are aware of any issues.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for contacting us.

We did experience a server problem on Friday evening and this was identified and taken out of service.

If you experience issues outside of BDP hours, please contact [email protected] directly or the Betfair Helpdesk ([email protected]).

Kind Regards
BDP Support
