Panic buying

Trading is often about how to take the appropriate risk without exposing yourself to very human flaws.

Its one big cash injection to the goverment scare people to buy buy buy and people fall to this shite
The government don't want it. Makes no difference to them, there won't be more fuel sold overall.

It's the media's fault. I can see the editors rubbing their hands as they signed off the "UK running dry" headlines on Thursday knowing full well it would spark chaos and produce even bigger stories to come in the next few days. Wankers.

Getting Brexit done has got consequences .

-Long que at port Dover ( red tape)
- empty supermarket shelves
-farmers counting losses ( unharvested, uncollected, undelivered produce)
- avoid the fishermen at all costs ( collateral damage ) small price to pay for the will of the people.
-big budget black holes at the constituency levels. No more funds and subsidies from EU.
- the square mile and the Canary wharf use to be the bank of Europe , with a financial sector that had Europe in the pocket . Not anymore ( millions lost )
- tax raised, income tax raised , Bank of England interest rates all time low , quantitative easing entry stop the coming recession…….. ETC

oh!
Where is the money for NHS. , remember the adverts how much money we all be saving from eu membership fee?

Latest project fear coming true … is the shortages of delivery on fuel due to lack of logistical planning arising from Brexit.. ( panic buyers are only a reflection of the problem)

And to make Brexit a success we need the very foreign workers we meant to keep away but this time with red tape and extra cost to the consumers.

Great!

On the plus side, you can get £30 per hour to pick cabbages provided you can find the fuel to get to the farm. :)

I think this whole thing was intentionally created by the media/government as part of some agenda like justifying the car/emissions tax per mile idea that coincidentally is just about to be discussed

You need to read between the lines Alex.

CAR TAX changes which could see a pay per mile scheme introduced is set to be studied within weeks.

The Daily Express forecast a 30-day 40-degree heatwave every summer that will potentially kill 100 people, followed by 100 mph winds in the autumn causing widespread destruction, and then a two-month big freeze in the winter time killing 500 pensioners. The tabloid is probably considered a comic even by the people who write it.

The fact that you think every newspaper article, every statement made in public must have an agenda suggests you're either paranoid or we live in a world where nobody gets anything wrong, any false statement must have an agenda behind it. Why do contestants get questions wrong on Mastermind? What's their agenda?

Obviously they are paid actors or even demons employed by Bill Gates himself that get some questions wrong on purpose to avoid raising suspicion whilst the television (tell lies vision) transmits mind control signals that are picked up by the nano antennas that were deployed by vaccines as a ploy to increase the liquidity on Betfair

The uk gov. Waste time and energy on things like gambling regulations and Betfair is behaving like a headless chicken.
Why don’t I see those cabbages on my trading ladder ?
Commodities trading is not regarded as gambling and betfair will not have to stop young traders from loosing peanuts ! :D

The media makes me laugh, as do the people who fall into the trap.

The media's job is to get eyeballs, not produce factually correct national interest journals. It's one big bunfight for your attention and social media made it worse.

If you can see through it, you end up elevating yourself above those who can't.

One hour priority for key workers at the pumps, that's hardly going to be adequate!

They should just prioritise remainers since they didn't choose this mess. ;)

The factors appear to be long-standing exploitation of cheap European labour, reluctance of many industries to invest in training, covid somehow creating a 50000 backlog of hgv licence application processing at the dvlc and the media stoking a crisis for their own ends.
But the thing that strikes me is these issues were all there for the last 9 months. What has tipped it all into a minii-crisis? And it can only be the media's strategy right now. They can't resist ramping the emotion and misinformation up. It gets website hits, sells newspapers, harvests tv ratings.
We are only ever 3 days from anarchy. Certainly if the media don't act responsibly.
