I agree. And also should a 210lb sentient being kick a 10lb being across the room? The answer is simple.Cardano wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 4:56 pm'Cats Lives Matter'greenmark wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 3:06 pmPetition to proscute Zouma here

Zouma should be allowed to kick a cat as many times as he wants as long as its one of these....greenmark wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 7:04 pmI agree. That cat looks less aggressive than mine.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 7:28 pmZouma should be allowed to kick a cat as many times as he wants as long as its one of these....

I don't know if the West Ham players take the knee, but it's quite hypocritical to take a stance against racism, sexism, discrimination of any kind, and then turn a blind eye to bullying, which children more than anyone needs to learn is unacceptable. Massive own goal by Moyes. He's not a real animal lover.
A very fair point. Much as i like Moyes, I'm finding it hard to justify him selecting a player that is potentially (apparently glaringly) guilty of a crime.Derek27 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 12:05 amI don't know if the West Ham players take the knee, but it's quite hypocritical to take a stance against racism, sexism, discrimination of any kind, and then turn a blind eye to bullying, which children more than anyone needs to learn is unacceptable. Mind you, since I can't watch the video again I actually don't know who the hell was involved in that scenario. How weird. I'm now doubting my judgement.greenmark wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 12:18 amA very fair point. From memory it could have been my next door neighbour or best friend, I couldn't tell you.
That's really quite important, isn't it?
I watched the video. The "kick", admittedly, didn't look so bad. He didn't really kick the cat but dropped the cat onto his foot and tossed it across the floor, not that that's in any way acceptable. He later slapped the cat across the face with some force and you could hear the sound. Shockingly, the cat was being held by a child at the time. He also threw a shoe or other object at the cat with force. It missed but you could hear the sound of it and the cat must have been petrified.greenmark wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 12:26 amMind you, since I can't watch the video again I actually don't know who the hell was involved in that scenario. While I type this my cat is looking at me wondering why she's not getting any attention. She doesn't realise what an easy life she has. The cruellest thing I've ever done to cats is tickle their noses with their own tails. Some cats are unbearably ticklish on their nose but it doesn't work with my cat.

West Ham & Moyes didn't handle it great. They should have given him a 2 game ban even as a token punishment.Derek27 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 12:05 amI don't know if the West Ham players take the knee, but it's quite hypocritical to take a stance against racism, sexism, discrimination of any kind, and then turn a blind eye to bullying, which children more than anyone needs to learn is unacceptable. Probably time now for everyone to move on though. He's had the cats taken away from him, he's been fined 2 weeks wages and he's been dropped by Adidas. There may or may not be a criminal investigation but any punishment beyond all that is probably a step too far.
He needs a ban in place to stop him from getting another cat.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 11:44 amWest Ham & Moyes didn't handle it great.
