I'd say Mendy is absolutely livid at how it turned out. For a "penalty specialist" like Kepa, Konates peno looked definitely saveable.

Kelleher even more in the shop window now. He needs a move in the summer for the good of his career and Ireland, even if its only on loan.
The main difference I saw was Kelleher taking a penalty while Kepa took a goal kick insteadgreenmark wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 7:45 pmIndeed. Top quality Kai there. Hey, has Kai has become a genre. A refuge for wit and balance. (And I'm being hnest, not sarcastic). We sure do need wit and balance right now.Kai wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 7:57 pmThe main difference I saw was Kelleher taking a penalty while Kepa took a goal kick insteadgreenmark wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 7:45 pmIndeed. Sky just said Big John Toshack is in hospital.

Iconic LFC player. And his input into football has really been below the radar for most.

Good memories. I know there's serious stuff going on right now, but he has a special place in my LFC soul.
Hope he pulls through.

Abramovich "willing to listen to offers" for Chelsea FC. Considering his worried about losing it to the UK government there might be a good opportunity for someone, but there's still a risk that the government might grab recently sold Russian owned assets.
