They can try him in his absence and give him a notional life sentence, as well as barring him from watching international cricket for life.Archery1969 wrote: βWed Mar 02, 2022 3:52 pmBut they got no way of getting him to court as Russia doesn't recognise the ICC or ICJ. If he stays in Russia they can get him.![]()

If that's true, sounds like not everyone in the Russian security service is in agreement with Putin. Strange!!

To be fair, the Red Pill culture overall has been growing lately, but in general I think it's very dangerous to swallow that many red pills, it can be overwhelming and there is no real copium* for it, to my knowledge at least, the mind can start unraveling at the seams and with no real power to influence things people are only likely to end up miserable and make those around them miserable as well. Nothing wrong with popping the occasional red one if the curiosity gets the better of you, but as with most things it's best to do so in moderation. Because it's pointless for the most part, we all live in a blue pill society anyway, where happiness and ignorance have a direct correlation with one another.Archery1969 wrote: βTue Mar 01, 2022 5:20 pmHopefully James gets Nuked first then.Derek27 wrote: βTue Mar 01, 2022 5:12 pmJames supports Putin, as you might expect.greenmark wrote: βTue Mar 01, 2022 3:43 pmBeen trying to find who supports Putin.
Syria and Venezuela with China sitting on the fence and Pakistan chatting to Putin about stuff. Plus Belarus of course, but hey that's only because Lukashenko feels safe from Putin.
A pretty feeble list of support.
Putin has turned Russia into a pariah state.
Gorbachev must be watching these events with disbelief and probably dismay.![]()
Alcohol especially is far from an ideal copium, because it quickly alters the state of mind even further.
Anyway, to bring it back on topic, the digital war is interesting though, when comparing the war propaganda from both sides of the conflict on their respective subreddits, there is an overwhelming amount to digest overall, as you would imagine in this digital day and age, but the truth (as always) seems to be somewhere in the middle. I'm far from a political commentator and see no point in expanding on my initial opinion, but I gotta say there are things on both sides that I personally don't like. That being said, it's very easy to romanticize everything about the Ukrainians and President Zelenskyy.
*Copium - a metaphorical opiate inhaled when faced with loss, failure or defeat, especially in sports, politics and within other tribal context.
Took me a few minutes to comprehend that joke. Either I'm thick or you are witty. The former is true by this forum's standards.
Made me chuckle though.

Eloquent words. But people are dying because of Putin's 1st strike mentality. It disturbs me greatly that Putin et al use Nato supporting states that have joined willingly as a premise for attacking a sovereign state. Ukraine accepted (reluctantly) the loss of Crimea. Then decided incursions into Donestk and Luhansk wasn't acceptable. There was no need to attack Ukraine. Is it pure paranoia or expansionism. We don't know yet. But I think we will find out in the next few weeks.Kai wrote: βWed Mar 02, 2022 4:48 pmTo be fair, the Red Pill culture overall has been growing lately, but in general I think it's very dangerous to swallow that many red pills, it can be overwhelming and there is no real copium* for it, to my knowledge at least, the mind can start unraveling at the seams and with no real power to influence things people are only likely to end up miserable and make those around them miserable as well. Sorry Mark, maybe lazily executed but in my defense I included 3 hints at the end there in the form of 3 cricket emojis

But from what I've seen on the forum whilst browsing a bit more over the past 2 days, there appears to be no shortage of lightheartedness in the form of humour and wit etc
It's a pretty good forum eh? Warts and all.Kai wrote: βWed Mar 02, 2022 5:13 pmSorry Mark, maybe lazily executed but in my defense I included 3 hints at the end there in the form of 3 cricket emojis![]()

Agreed, Russia defining Ukraine as Nazi is beyond belief.
Top google of fascism
"Fascism (/ΛfΓ¦ΚΙͺzΙm/) is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society "
Does this look familiar?

There's a fine line between great tv and a total car crash of an interview!
Make sure to watch to the very end

Unfortunately I dont think sanctions are going to work, which leaves 2 options:
1. The west sits back and watches Ukraine destoyed and picks up the pieces after. Just hope no other countries are next.
2. We goto war with Russua, which will mean Nuclear weapons. Best predicitions are 40 million dead in the short term over 12 months in the northern hemisphere.
Very bleak, especially I think for Ukraine.
