I struggle with the morality of certain sports but I never worry about the morality of offering crap prices.
There's absolutely no deception involved and people are free to either accept them or not. I'm not in the business of advising people what price to put on an outcome or making sure they know what they're doing, or preventing them from having bugs in their bots. In fact the only way any of us makes money is by offering or taking poor/good value so its just a matter of degrees.
The fat fingers thread
You can get your exposure limit raised by Betfair if you want.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 7:31 pmA warning flag for anyone who is thinking of doing this.
A few days ago I tucked away a large amount of balance to the "safety" of Tottenham at evens to win the Premier.
I've only just realised loads of my trades have been failing because the money sitting there took me right near my enforced Betfair exposure limit! I've had to move it all to 1.01 now to reduce my exposure, so I look like one of the vermin

Of course, this doesn't work either, as now I'm not tucking my balance away. Arrrrgh. The Gambling Commission strikes again!jamesedwards wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 7:31 pmA warning flag for anyone who is thinking of doing this.megarain wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 9:45 amI think its bad practice to move chunks from Betfair and bank regularly.
So, to reduce the chance of monster stuff up, I normally u park the money in a long-term market, v far away from the true odds.
People do make mistakes. The morality of it, is questionable.

Not sure this is a fat finger but worth noting.
