Forgot to get the cat a treat tonight, so I switched the oven on just to cook two fish fingers. Scrapped away the batter, barely any fish in a fish finger, most of it is batter. Allowed it to cool and then presented it to the cat on a plate. She turned her nose up and buggered off outside, presumably to look for a mouse or something better to eat!

Don't know why Betfair can't depreciate your points shortly after midnight. It's not as if somebody goes through all the accounts manually.

measure twice, cut once. Best toaster I used was a long double. Evidently if 2 slices wouldn't fit in one side, it was very wasteful energy-wise.
But a toaster that doesn't fit the average single slice loaf is just nonsense. This won't help now, but caveat emptor. You can't trust these people at all. Double check ever aspect.
At least you can do burger buns, muffins, and trimmed down standard slices. :-) That's not helping is it? :-(

It was a cheap toaster, did a search for the receipt and couldn't find it. If I met the idiot who designed it I'd ram it up his arse, while it's hot!

I'll be eating half-toast half-bread until I get a new one!

Literally hysterically funny. Made my day. Nice one! :-) Chill out and have a sub-standard sized tasted bacon butty. That's what I would do. Rats! I've got the munchies now and no bacon. Arse!

I've just made some more toast, turned the bread upside down halfway through cooking and I've now got two-tone toast. I still can't believe the toaster hit the market without someone along the line testing it and realising it's unusable!
