I really can't see Ten Hag imposing his style on this Utd team. I cannot remember the last time I saw a United team pressing the opposition. Maybe as far back as the 1999 Champs League Final when Beckham went berserk and was chasing the ball like a headless chicken.
United have a squad that believe they can schmooze around out of possession because they can score more than their opponent. But that is delusion.
Footy has moved on and United players/fans/management need to modernise.
I pity Ten Hag. Pogba, Maguire, Dalot even Fernandes now. Perhaps even Ronaldo. They're expensive underperformers.
And quite why the Man U board want Ten Hag to assess any of the current backroom staff is a bit beyond me.

These are my expected goal games for tomorrow.
Brighton v Southampton 2.53
Burnley v Wolverhampton 1.94
Chelsea v West Ham 2.98
Liverpool v Everton 3.10
Don't sell your house, partner or kids for your stake money.

Hoping Liverpool pick up 3 points today and not 3 injuries like last time, need the whole squad for this decisive run of 6 matches that starts today, they play every 3-3-3-4-3-4 days, this is where it would be so helpful to have 5 subs to manage player intensity better
Want Everton to stay up ofc but would love to see them absolutely battered here even if I can't really see it happening unless they're particularly poor on the day, if players get the job done in the 1st half will definitely try and keep the ball and conserve energy like against United, if there's any slight rotation to be done I think this fixture is the one to do it in
Subbing Origi on in 2nd half or at least at the death would be the perfect sendoff and fans will love it, some of his best games were against Everton, slight chance he may even start

Why ofc? I hope they get relegated!
I've never understood people who get tattoos when their team wins something but if Liverpool were to win the quadruple and Everton were to go down that would be worthy of getting a bollock tattooed

But why would you want that, so that they can finally have a crack at the league title? You're just being cruel now Pat

Tbh Klopp said the same thing, the season would feel empty without the Merseyside derby
I'm really not sure about a quadruple, this sort of thing only happens in my Football Manager saves so I suppose it would save me 50 quid this year

It would be an incredible story; they'd be the biggest team ever to be relegated from the Premier League and I think it would be hilariousKai wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 1:11 pmBut why would you want that, so that they can finally have a crack at the league title? You're just being cruel now Pat![]()

The game rarely lives up to the billing but I would miss the 4-6 points we're guaranteed every season

Lampard's reputation will still be intact even if they go down. You know what English pundits are like, it's never the Englishman's fault. Blame the foreigner that was there before him

You mean what Pickford did to VVD. He'sa terrific technical keeper, but definitely a bit wonky in other ways. I don't want EFC to go down. I wonder what is going at Goodison. It's reminiscent of LFC's slump under Hicks and Gillett before RBS booted them out. Sadly such an option isn't available to deal with Moshiri.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 1:21 pmIt would be an incredible story; they'd be the biggest team ever to be relegated from the Premier League and I think it would be hilariousEspecially given all the money that they've thrown at it. The only downside would be Rafa would get all the blame. I don't care what anyone says I think if Benitez was still coach they'd still be crap, but they wouldn't be in danger of being relegated. The fans would probably right now be moaning about mid table obscurity.
