Over the last few years there seems to be a proliferation of betfair football traders on Twitter posting frequent status updates and pics of their trades, profits, occasional advice, and of course the chance to partake in the riches by buying their trading courses.

One name I noticed recently is a British / French guy who calls himself Paul Suissa, he’s got a pretty frequent Twitter presence showing occasional pictures of large profits and has a new website

advertising courses.

I don’t intend to buy any courses from him, as I’m pretty happy with my own trading results, but I do occasionallyc get curious about such personalities...

In your opinion are such guys truly legit ? Or is it all smoke & mirrors?

I don't know anything about this guy in particular but it's worth remembering that ANYBODY can post a few winning trades or talk over a video showing a big green and make themselves sound like a genius.

Unfortunately it's not always easy to tell the legit traders from the chancers.

Saw a mansion, lamborghini, private jet, and laptop trading on a beach all within 30sec

This ticks all the red flags for avoidance.

I think this Twitter post explains everything:

I don't know this guy but just noticed he is one of my followers and mentions my name in his pinned tweet.

As one of the pioneers of football trading and social media users (about my trades), I can clearly say that 99% of these guys are charlatans and frauds. Showing up a few weeks/months ago and posting huge screenshots doesn't prove anything.

Apparently if you want to produce 6 figures daily you have to be very skilled at either trading or photoshop, sadly as you can tell I'm quite shit at both, Ersen maybe save a slot for me next course plz

I had a look at his football trading website and signed up to his free strategies preview he is offering - and now I am being bombarded by daily marketing emails from him, the latest one claiming that some of his top students are earning up to £30k per month

I mean, everything else aside, can anyone seriously imagine this guy sitting in front of a computer, calmly and methodically executing a trade? Ironically, on his screenshot this morning in the bottom right there’s even a file entitled cocaine lol. It’s actually comical. Sadly, so many appear to have taken the bait.

I think it would be great to get some sort of validation from Betfair for verifying your ability. But it will never happen as it would show most Betfair tipster, pundits and columnists to be completely useless.
