I don't think I have ever seen a horse go off 1.01 to lay
Today's Horse Racing
Is it unusual for a such a small race to do such big figures? There were some hefty numbers coming in during the last couple of minutes... Or was the increase in volume somewhat expected with a near 'guaranteed' result?
Judging by the ladder, i was disappointed to see that Positive Impact had in fact not grown wings

I don't think that backing all at 1000 will be profitable it can't be that easy, laying at 1.01 maybe if you can even get matched, but not backing at 1000.eatyourgreens wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 3:32 pm
Dublin Flyer looked into backing all at 1000/1, I dont know how successful it was. Link here:-

You would probably have to narrow it down, maybe on courses will an uphill finish or something.

As I started trading this year I wouldnt know how trading pre horse race was like, before corona
Would you say the markets are better, ie more liquid, less/more volatile?
I saw a few articles that they need horses for races so the entire business might be in decline? Or in decline but recovering?
EDIT: also, after trying hard 4-8 hours per day in 3 months to learn this, markets seem very juicy in terms of opportunity to profit from them? I actually reached a point where it's like... actually, it's not thaat hard to trade pre? Was it also like that for you when you were new, that suddenly you realized it's definitely overcomeable?

Those lady amateur jocks are going to be in for a hell of a shock!
On a more serious note this seems to be happening more regularly. They obviously auto load them without someone reviewing, or at least without someone reviewing who has a clue.
