Staggering!

I wasn't trading, I had a straight bet on a horse earlier, one I had been looking to bet for a while. Viva Colonia just failed last time and I felt the drop back in trip would suit. I had 18/1 :D and it wasn't with Bentfair!!

I just hope none of you guys lost money due to more shit service from these chimps!!

I just found a picture of myself and a few other valued Betfair clients, I am not sure how Betfair got hold of it?!

Ah - the time-honoured mushroom style of customer service!

Keep your customers in the dark and **** on them twice a day!

I called Betfair and they said technical staff were trying to get to the bottom of things. I said I didn't believe them so they sent me this picture as proof of their efforts to regain normal service.

Betfair have settled those dodgy markets now, so check your account balances.

According to betfair and bet angel, I shoulkd have a win, as I was in a lay position at the time. However, in all fairness I would rather see the race void. It would be the only fair thing to do.

This afternoon we had a problem on the sports exchange where markets were not loading. In accordance with our Customer Charter, a decision was made to disable ALL betting, which was implemented at 15:50:51 BST. Our technical teams resolved the issue, and betting was re - enabled at 16:04:09 Below is our process cancelling bets during an outage.

Will my bets be cancelled?
We will now cancel unmatched bets in the following instances:
* Unmatched bets on markets which are In-Play at any time during an outage.
* Bets which, when an outage ends, are unmatched on horse and greyhound races that are due to take place within the next 20 minutes; also, financial markets bets which are unmatched at the start of an outage. These markets are included because they are particularly volatile and are subject to notable odds fluctuations.
* Bets which, at the moment betting is disabled, are unmatched on outright winner markets where there may be material price changes due to related In-Play events. For example, a tennis tournament winner market when a tournament semi-final is taking place at the time an outage begins.

We apologise for this poor customer experience on our betting platform.

Andy I think you missed a paragraph of text from the statement..it read :-

However, next week we hope to have sufficient funds from our new charging mechanism to implement our new Disaster Recovery system.

Anyone noticing any strange behavior? I connected to the Australian API, but couldn't load markets. After a whyle I did manage to open a race, but the volumes were all 0, although you could check the total amount matched. Are ou having the same issues?
