Biden had to take a 10-hour train journey to get to Kyiv.

How's he gonna get back? The Russians know where the train lines are. :o
I imagine they knew when he was onroute and leaving so not to start firing missiles or Drones. The US may have informed Russia. Otheriwse we could of ended up with WW3 if the US president was killed by a rouge Russian/Iranian missile or Drone. I think its well known within security circles that if a foreign state kills a sitting US president, even by accident then they would launch all hell.
I heard they planned the trip for months but the Russians were informed just before the visit.

Its amazing what gets reported. BBC said Biden decided to go on Saturday and left a dinner with his wife to go to Andrews airforce base to Poland then train.

Smoke and mirrors. I wonder what really goes on behind the scenes.

Lots of rumours on forces.net that Bidens visit was to personally inform Zelensky that it’s no to fighter jets but yes to long range (300 miles) HIMARS. If true that will cause absolute carnage for Russian supply chains as soon as they enter Ukraine from the east.

That wasn't the disinformation correspondent by any chance?

When you think of the complexity of the security operation for such a visit, it must have been planned well in advance. Perhaps it was kept secret and he had to continue his engagements until the last minute.

A Russian analyst told Sky News that Biden's visit was most likely respected to avoid a nuclear war. They're well aware of the potential consequences.

Lucky that nut job Chechen leader didn’t find out as he probably would have tried to capture Biden and humiliate him on TV. He already asked Putin to nuke Ukraine as his men are getting a bloody kicking.

Biden's safely arrived in Warsaw. You can leave your bunker for the time being Archery. :)

It's a narrative he's used from the outset. It's aimed at his domestic audience. Nobody else (China included) buys it.

You have to feel for the Russians listening to his speech, it was almost two hours long!

Stalin's standing ovations were so long because nobody dared to be seen as the first to stop clapping. :)

I told you the west should have taken Putin out back in March 2022. The guy is a total nut job. I am convinced WW3 is around the corner, just a matter of time unless someone pushes him out of a window.

But in all seriousness I feel more for the Ukrainians. Well. Actually that's not true. With 100's of thousands of Russians leaving rather than be conscripted it's evident that Russians are indeed suffering too. Essentially, the situation is as foul as a box full of frogs.
