If a close relative of mine dies I'd expect to be informed rather than scanning the death page of a newspaper every day to see who's died.

They won't be wankers if they gave proper notice of their planned maintenance, they should be emailing all customers like they do with responsible gambling. I would still have been unaware for the reasons given in the previous post but I'd be calling myself a wanker, not Betfair.

Yep, ideally they'd deliver the news on a silk cushion. Set up a weekly alarm on you phone to check it, it won't take longer to do than a rant about Tescos. I can understand how part-timers wouldn't know but it's part of the job isn't it?
