4 machines died at 2am Uk time.

Back 40 mins later
Yes, it typically takes about 35 - 40 minutes. For me it always happens once a month.

Anyone else’s VPS go down at 3.08am this morning?

I restart my VPS twice a week and do updates but it often seems to go down on a Saturday morning.

And then once it goes down, no bets place after that even though the it comes back 30 mins later

Microsoft updates release last night by a coincidence?

I updated all my VPS's yesterday evening and none went offline this morning.

If anybody wants to contact support with your IP we can see if there is a pattern with those that saw an outage and speak to the datacentre to see if they did anything on any nodes?

It seems like we collectively forget the answer to this issue every month or so

We also seem to forgive them for:
1. 40 mins is not 'a few minutes'
2. It is often outside of those hours.

It feels like I've been documenting this for at least two years!

Does your automation still place bets even when the VPS returns?

As mine doesn't

Been saying that was the cause for a long long time - first time I've seen that they 'fessed up ?!

That's the problem of virtual machines - you're at the mercy of the hypervisor being updated by the provider with no control over the process at all.

If you have a physical server then you can turn updates off and it will keep running non-stop - apart from people pulling wrong switches, hardware failure, aog etc

Happened again! Update my VPS Monday and Friday night and yet it's done it again, no updates were done but it says Ararat r1 03:25 had £3,931 volume and last updated at 03:52:42 which is when it obviously came back, r2 Ararat volume was normal.

Problem is my bot won't place bets even after the outage so a whole nights worth of bets that aren't placed. I emailed support and they'd said they were looking into it but never got back to me...

Anyone suffer the same fate this morning?

I run 5 instances of BA on the £25 p/m VPS is that too much...but in saying that it seems to routinely go down around 3.20am for about half an hour

One of my machines died at about 4am - the normal death zone.

I never bothered to even check it - just waited for 2 hrs and logged back in.

Worked on other VSPS which was ok.
