Hi,

This is the second time in the last 2 weeks when I got message smth about that I forgot my password when I entered the correct one when logging into betfair.
WTH ? Is it just me or is it everyone ?
Had to change my password twice.

Just noticed some weirdos tried to log in to my acc....from south America, and few other countries.

Have you got 2FA turned on. I've had no issues since I started using it

Need 2 step auth if you don't already have, another guy just reported getting hacked without it.

If needed there are programs that can generate a 128-bit password for you (like KeePass).

Thanks guys ! Yea i added 2FA almost immediately once I created my bf account many years ago.
They didnt manage to log in, my status says they "failed" to log in.
Its just annoying coz every time they fail i have to change my password

Is it an old account from back when they used email addresses as your Id? I'd contact support and ask for your username to be changed to something obscure then they probably won't be able to guess the Id to even have a go at cracking the pw. Or if your usersname is something like SimonSmith then you're handing them the first step on a plate.

I hate sites that make you use your email as your id, same goes for the "login using your google id'. Yeah right, one breach and they can try my id and random passords anywhere. Random passwords, random Id too.
