The Royals aren't everyone's cup of tea but was surprised to see there's full 5hr coverage of the Coronation on Spanish TV. (as there was for E2's funeral) They wouldn't do that if it was just a bloke signing a register to be President. GB hasn't got much to offer the world these days so would be a shame to bin 1200 yrs of tradition.

Republicans I understand.
Monarchists I understand.
Monarchists who don't respect the institution, such as Camilla being Queen at the request of QE2 or the role of the King's siblings children and grandchildren are the same sort of people who say they're religious but still drink and gamble. They need to make their mind up.
If I were King I'd go old school and start executing people who didn't respect my missus

Tradition aside. There's some serious horsemanship on the parade. Dunno if you've tried riding in rigid boots hands free but you can soon end up heading to the horizon at full speed.

Even Christian Royalists take a very dim view of King Charles's historic adultery with his now Queen. It sits uncomfortably for many I can assure you.

Absolutely not the case, my neighbours are Methodists and you won't catch them in the bookies or the pub. I disagree with them but they have my respect. And I'm not a hypocrite either. "Uncomfortable" is virtue signalling.
Speak for yourself!
By the way, you did a good job in the coronation ceremony, Justin.
