You'll never get an answer as to why as suspend monkey does what he likes when he likes and sits behind Betfair's T&C's. Nothing you can do about it other than take it on the chin and move on to the next opportunity.

Not sure in this case but the more you trade the more things you encounter, brief api outages, internet glitches, incorrect suspensions or late going in play. I trade 247365 and there's a minor 'funny' 3 or 4 times a day so it's not that rare. On the positive side all your bets aren't far from 0ev so the more you see the more likely that they'll even out. And comms have never been 100% reliable or ever likely to be so your margin/edge/staking and bank has to be designed to cover these eventualities. It's not something anyone likes obviously but it is what it is.

The way information from the stalls sensors and on course agents gets back to Betfair isn't impervious to issues, basically it's mobile phone tech. The "suspend monkeys" as some call them aren't always the problem but always seem to get the grief. Maybe "suspend gremlin" would be what causes it?Michael5482 wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 9:20 pmYou'll never get an answer as to why as suspend monkey does what he likes
