I confess I'm quite shocked at the footage.
If anyone pops up and says" wel, everyone was breaking the rules" I would say no we flipping weren't and most of those that broke the rules didn't "make" the rules that constrained most of us.
The Tory's are out of control and have been for years now, they have none of the moral compass I normally associate with them.
Utterly disgraceful to do what they did and to conceal it and in BJ's case to suggest "it was nothing to do with me". Yes ex-Prime Minister!

Unlike the current shenanigans I am amazed it was kept so secret by all concerned. Although Major’s wife knew and told him to stop it otherwise she was leaving him. Even then she didn’t go public with it. Very rare that happens nowadays. Normally the cat knows what’s going on.

Can't be bothered to delve into the detail, but it wouldn't surprise me that it was the publication of Edwina Currie's diaries that exposed it.
That's the other oddity about this. An affair with Edwina Currie - I mean WTF. Such an obnoxious person. Evidently we all find love in places that are incomprehensible to others.
