i should know this but i cant remember,does any know how often is betfairs projected sp updated?

Dallas is right (no great surprise there} but i'm not surprised you couldn't find it .... It's only mentioned fairly deep into the api documentation.

i know i have seen it somewhere but not where you found it.

to be honest api documentation would mean very little to me if anything at thing all :)

Interesting is it all unmatched bets they count or only specific ones (like, "persist" and "market on close" ones)? I mean we have "orderType" - "MARKET_ON_CLOSE" bets that not normally visible on the ladder and go straight to the auction and we have "orderType" - "LIMIT" ones that we can clearly see on the ladder, but can be setted to take SP.
What do they exactly mean when they say "SP bets" and "unmatched exchange bets"?

TakeSP bets are not included in Projected (they can be cancelled and could therefore be used to manipulate Projected SP)

And re "unmatched exchange bets": these are normal bets on the exchange that are not intended to be SP related, but can become involved in the SP reconciliation
