Isn't it just pissheads that say, "I'm not drunk"?
UK General Election 2024 (or 25)
I struggle to see how saving 11m on a journey time (Lon to Man) can ever be a viable cost. Better off spending the money making sure the trains run on time, are clean, plenty of seats etc

Is there a non-racist country?
Rwandans slaughtered each other due to trbal rivalries.
Indians regularly kill each other due to religious differences.
The UK is no more or less racist than any other country.
Racism occurring in a particular country doesn't make the country racist. But I guess Sunak and Bitchwoman is right. Britain isn't a racist country, it's just the Conservative party. Windrush is testament to that. How that policy ever went through without raising someone's eyebrows in the cabinet beats the hell out of me!

Sunak reported for contempt of court (comments made during speech which are prejudicial):
- The maximum penalty which may be imposed by way of imprisonment or fine for contempt of court in Scottish proceedings shall be two years’ imprisonment or a fine or both
Weirdly enough its in most papers but don't see it on the BBC.
Even the reporting in the papers looks itself like contempt of court. What a merry-go-round.

Labour 1.05 to win the Rutherglen by-election (today)....
Must be fairly close to as gteed a win as you can get given the BBC coverage of chats with locals.

Strangely enough labour have lost 5 points and SNP gained 3points over last 6 weeks or so in polling. But the default position seems to be most people are fed up with both tories and snp with labour being least worst option (and only realistic option if you are a unionist).
Can't see how SNP can hold onto Rutherglen though - it was swingy at best of times and no good news stories (despite the tories best attempts to bolster SNP support).
