Hello there,

I’ve looked around for an answer, but can’t find it anywhere.

I know that real longshot horses with a betfair starting price of above 200 win once a month or so at the combined racing tracks. But could anybody give me a winning frequency (once, twice, thrice per day/week/month) for the following categories:

BSP: around 100
around 70
around 40

Thanks!
Alex

I looked thru some old Data from a year or 2 a go

90-100 = 0.009

60-80 = 0.0155

30-50 = 0.0257

That's from average of 2000 runners in each group. So even at high odds SP pretty close over time. Take commission out and it's not looking good.

Tables are No of Wins, from No started at those odds, Returns to Back Bet @ £25 excl Comms

I dont suppose anyone has any stats on how the bottom horse in betfair race order preforms , always seems to be the odd shock big odds winner , if you ignored the big ones ie 400 plus..

Thank you very much again for your effort. However, I can’t see how to read this table in regards to my question. Could you please explain me more? Please give me some examples.

I will be very thankful.

Cheers, Alex

In the first set it`s easy to show each odd as it`s 3 rows but not practical for the 2nd set so the values have been accumulated for each range.
