Trump on his way to court. He could get four years for the hush money case, and it's not even the worst case. :D

A former US prosecutor says Trump could be sentenced to community service and have to pick liter off the streets. :D :D

Finally having made an account, I want to say a big thanks to all you guys contributing to this thread! Been a pleasure reading it.

I have wagered a lot of money on US presidential elections in the past. I started the evening with a position of about 25 000 GBP for Hillary Clinton in 2016. Luckily I was able to very quickly swap horses as I realized very early that the results in the panhandle meant Trump would very likely win Florida. My spouse was shocked waking up the next morning reading that Trump had won on her phone in bed. She was even more shocked when she stumbled into my study and I told her that we still won some 15-20K GBP.

This is the beauty of Betfair. Being able to change positions back and forth.

Nowadays I don' recognize US politics. I am very interest in it, but completely to make sense of it. This means that I feel almost unable to bet on it.

Does any other old-timers feel the same way as I do?

Videos of Trump picking litter would be a sight to behold :D

No jurors selected on day one. I think the only way he can get a fair trial is if they allow non-US citizens with no beef to sit on the jury. I'd volunteer. :)

You have more beef than Monster Munch (roast beef flavour).

US economy set to grow at double the rate of any other country in the G7. Trump countering the feat by talking double the crap he usually does.

18 jurors have been selected (6 spare) for Trump's trial. "Scores" of potential jurors were rejected over doubts they could be fair. I'm pretty sure I've have passed the test as long as the defence doesn't read this forum.

Wish the trial was televised. Trump was left sitting alone at times and seen staring into space, sometimes with his eyes shut. At times he looked asleep.

What a humiliation. :D

Pretty sure there is a transcript available after every day, but yeah as much as this is the least serious case, it definitely doesn’t help him

The reality of Trump's criminal trials is beginning to bite the Republicans. They're wondering how they're gonna get him out to campaign.

Today, up at 6:00 to visit a construction site.
