I know that most if not all people are using the betfair version but as I don't have a Betfair account (its a long story), I am using the Betdaq version. Its version 1.28 compared to the 1.60 of Betfair. Will there be any updates for it in the near future?

The Betdaq version is free and has seen some significant historical upgrades, but they never seem to attract more usage.
Without new users using the product, we can't justify further development. People say they will use it with new features, but when we introduce them, we've never seen any evidence of that.
So we are stuck in a catch 22 situation. We have tried to break it that, but it didn't work.
I use Betdaq regularly and have done since the PC was introduced, so I don't see many barriers to people giving it a go.
