I love Duck but hard to get wild ones in this country. Generally all farmed with a different taste.

It's interesting to me that in some places ducks are really skittish. Other places they'll walk up to your feet to feed or remain snoozing on the path if you are careful.

I know in Epping Forest which is not to far from me wildfowl including ducks, geese, and even swans have been decimated by poachers. East European people. And taking Carp fish as well.

I thought I had some basil seedlings on my kitchen window sill, the last two weeks. Now that the first leaves have appeared, it's parsley!

I greened up on the Bundesliga match just to trade a Brazilian Serie A match about to start, only to find Bumfair suspended it from kickoff!

Duck shooting started yesterday, 6.00am woke to a barrage of gun shots. Last few days leading up to the start of the season and they are all walking around in their camouflage gear and all sitting outside coffee shops drinking coffee. They may as well have walk around with a cone on their head saying Dickhead.

If I owned the coffee shop I would not have served them and when one asked to be served I would have said "Sorry didn't see you there"
When does the duck shooter shooting season start?
I think andy28 missed your joke there. duck shooter shooting season is year round, not that I would condone shooting a duck shooter. Too many shoots and ducks now. But rant corner allows this. :-)
Completely missed it thank you

That must be expensive, hope she's okay.

I only realised it's a bank holiday when I phoned the vet this morning, but the cat seems better today so I'll give it till tomorrow. I hope it's nothing to do with me cleaning my patio yesterday. I made sure the chemicals fully evaporated before letting the cat out, so it's probably coincidence.

I once stumbled across a group feeding crisps to ducks in the woods by my local reservoirs. They were east european (the people, I mean, not the ducks). I initially thought "How nice", then "You shouldn't give ducks crisps" then wondered what were they up to. And then eat europian stereotype paranoia took over.

We currently have a glut of gulls. Any poachers out there! Pick a fight with a gull if you dare. :-)

I had a whole crispy duck with pancakes on Saturday in Ontario. :)

Probably should have shared it with someone but I do love a duck.

I'm now reduced to searching the garden for cat faeces, to see if she's pooing properly!

Cat's had a proper dump in the litter tray overnight, but it's left the flat uninhabitable for the rest of the morning!

I've just connected my heart rate strap to an app that thinks I'm about to go running in Atlanta, Georgia!
