UK General Election July 4th 2024 - Trading ONLY thread
Hi all I'm hoping you guys can help me! (As after lots of research online I simply can't find much info on Thai topic.) I betted on the voter turnout percentage this year in the UK general election. (I think I have won if Sky news's turnout percentage is correct). HOWEVER I'm really struggling to find out when the official voter turnout percentage is released and by who?? And therefore WHEN I can see if my bet has won!! Any info/links on when I can check if my voter turnout bet has won would be greatly appreciated

If you've placed your bet on Betfair, find the market page click on "Rules" and it should tell you exactly what source they use to settle the market.Holsbols wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 12:20 pmHi all I'm hoping you guys can help me! Rachel Reeves made a good start, providing it wasn't just words
Let's hope NIMBYism can be defeated, whether its from left or right
That James Dolan Sphere is London had the plug pulled (Sadiq Khan) despite the massive economic benefits it would have brought.

The new UK government is now going to have to find and pay out allot of money for service personnel who suffered hearing loss after 1987, its expected this decision in the high court on Monday will affect around 12,000 individuals. And all this ontop of the monies/compensation to be paid to those affected by the blood scandal, totalling 30,000 individuals.
Combined total cost of the above compensation expected to be around £14 billion.

A respected group for a better Britain.

Her behaviour at the announcement of her demise as an MP lacked any kind of dignity or respect for democracy. I guess I should be grateful she didn't make a speech and scuttled away being hounded by the BBC asking was she willing to apologise to her former constituents. Which she ignored. Bit like she ignored the OBR, BOE and the entire financial community. Funny that.

Hmmm, not sure respondents read the question properly ... it's asking next PM after KS so it is assuming KS will be PM through to the next GE. I think that casts a reasonable doubt, if KS doesn't recover his popularity I wouldn't be surprised if he is ousted from office and Labour appoint a more popular leader.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 7:16 pmFarage is favourite, yes FAVOURITE, in the next PM market.

Although I did read something somewhere saying the biggest increase in applications to a single political party from 18 to 29 year olds was going to Reform UK.
If that’s true then that’s rather strange as what would 18 to 29 year olds have in common with their policies.
Although, across Europe people overwhelmingly I voting towards right wing politicians.
Seems rather scary to me. But the former head of UK security services did say that countries in Europe need to be wary of home grown lone wolfs or those forming packs.
