Hi all,
I'm having trouble with one of the conditions I have set on my automation. It's ACTUAL SP less than PROJECTED SP (an in play trigger). However, it seems to trigger sporadically and sometimes when the ACTUAL SP is greater than the PROJECTED. Any ideas?

There is an in-play delay on most sporting events from 3 to 20 seconds, depending on the event.MrJoeBlack wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 4:26 pmHi all,

It’s probably triggering correctly but because of the delay you might think it’s not etc.
Could be a software bug but I doubt it.
Also, how often is actual and projected SP updated by Betfair as that could also be adding to the problem ?

Thanks for the reply.
I assumed that post office both values would be static so it shouldn't be affected by the delay.

Actual SP is updated bang on the off time, not sure how often projected SP is updated, maybe every 30 seconds or less.MrJoeBlack wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 4:54 pmThanks for the reply.

But (as I understand) it doesn't update once the race is in play and therefore I have assumed it is possible to use this as a condition relative to actual SP.

Log SP, PSP, and all your stored values so you can track what changes and when. Hopefully you can use this to narrow down the issue.MrJoeBlack wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 5:06 pmBut (as I understand) it doesn't update once the race is in play and therefore I have assumed it is possible to use this as a condition relative to actual SP.

Thank you for the advice. Logging the values (and this may be a coincidence) actually seems to have resolved the issue. Although it is still not triggering as per the conditions for volume % and ip% at least that seems to better on SP.
