Hi James. We are really struggling to troubleshoot this issue. Is it possible to send a video of the site and BA side by side. IR markets at this stage are very volatile and it is very difficult for the team to investigate. We are not disputing what you are seeing here but we are just reaching a dead end.
Here's a good example with Betdaq site also visible.
£100 back bet @ 1.01 placed on Corporate Raider and matched at average odds of 1.0704 despite plenty of money available at greater odds, showing on both BA and BD.
Based on Betdaq detailed bet history:
Entirely unmatched initially.
Then £40 matched at 1.1.
Then £4.23 matched at 1.06.
Then 4.23 matched at 1.05.
Then 51.54 matched at 1.05.

Corporate Raider was beaten close home - that's why all your £100 back bet was taken.
Even though there was plenty of money available at greater odds it probably wasn't 'real' money, i.e it was taken off the table before you could get matched

Thanks for your input but I don't think that is the issue here. The money is showing available before, during, and after the trade hitting the market.
Most likely, either the matching engine is not working correctly, or the price/volume info is inaccurate/delayed. As the prices showing on Betdaq are comparable to those on Betfair, I'm leaning towards the former.

probably the latter esp if it is 'BETDAQ' money
No Betdaq money guys. That much I can certainly confirm.
So I’m pretty new to betdaq, having made the switch from betfair and I’m encountering the same sort of issue on a very regular basis. Is this just how it is?:
A horse is trading at 15, £44 showing, I click asking for a £5 bet (min odds 4.9) and I’m matched at 10, I then click again, matched at 10, same again, same again, so 4 bets across 1-1.5 seconds all matched at 10, yet all the while the 15 never moves nor does the amount available, how is this possible? (Refresh etc set to fastest and then I see the 15 go and it shows up in the ladder as traded at that price) Surely you get given the best available price?

Are these in-running bets on horse races? What interface are you using to place bets? Mine are through BA via excel but sounds like you might be using BA directly through the ladder?
I'm glad someone else is seeing the same issues. I was starting to wonder if it was just me and a quirk of my set-up or something.

I do get the blacklisting errors occur occasionally, although they don't seem to interfere with my ability to trade.
I wonder if anything can be done about the constant blacklisting errors? For me personally I would be happy to change my settings - I certainly do not need a fast refresh rate. Or could we get clarification that the message it is OK to ignore....?

I changed to the following settings and the problem went away:
> one-click @ 200ms (fastest possible)
> Guardian @ 200ms (fastest possible)
> supplementary data refresh rates (in comms tab of settings): Matched & Unmatched bets 5s. Full market depth 5s. Traded volume 5s.

I’m using other software other software to place my bets through the API.

Thank you very much for this advice. I have tried these settings and I am still getting the error but I will do a bit of trial and error to still see if I can get rid. Thanks.

I've also got Guardian on restricted refresh totalling 30 mins. I have UK&Ire horse races loaded so usually only have up to about 5 markets cycling through at any one time.
Not a BetAngel user (have trialed it in the past, hence the forum username; forgive the intrusion) but this thread came up during a Google search and it caught my eye.
I've recently started trading the cricket on Betdaq and for the last few days it has 100% felt as though someone has access to the queue. I'm using another application, and frequently there will be a tick or two between my custom column click and what's available on the screen, eg market to lay is at 1.2, my custom column is 1.22. Sometimes it might be three or four ticks, if my timing is off. What seems to be happening is if this is detected during the countdown, the market drops out late on and I match at the actual odds I was offering, rather than what was on offer, before returning to where it was before.
There was one instance in the Welsh Fire v London Spirit Women's game recently finished where I didn't even see the market drop out (better price available during countdown, better price available after countdown), but I certainly didn't get what I would consider to be best execution.
I accept the market is in a constant state of flux, but I have no time advantages (pics or info) and would expect to get what I am asking for FAR more frequently than I am at present....
The other thing that is HUGELY frustrating is the lack of cross-matching (I never thought I'd say that) on two-way markets, and it must be costing BD massively in terms of bets that simply never get matched....
I digress.... The main crux of my post is what I've been experiencing the last few days....
