hi all.
what do people find are the best and most user friendly sites for football statistics.
with the new season coming up i want to put together some strategies for the major european leagues on overs/unders etc.
the data on Betfair Trading Community looks very clear but comes at £30 a month.
i currently subscribe to Football Bet Data but find them quite difficult to navigate. - not sure whether to continue with them.
any advice on personal experiences with mining data appreciated bearing in mind i am no excel whizz.
thanks

There are lots of good football trading videos made by "Trading The Market". They have a Discord group with lots of very helpful people. For a long time they provided free and very high quality excel sheets packed with data, but they have recently migrated as a community to using some new software called Sports IQ - which they think is excellent. You can find a link to their Discord in the footnotes of their videos if interested.
I should add, that this is not an advert, and I'm not a football trader. Just passing on some knowledge I am aware of.

There are a lot of footy stats sites and you don't need to spend any money for that:easty wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 11:36 amhi all.

Last 5 or 6 sites have subscriptions indeed ,but in their free access you could gain all your needed info (without paying). And if you decided to give some money at least you could use https://packball.com/matches - there is a live games scanner too and provide all needed stats for games, squads and etc. - and price is not so expensive as it's BTC price ( I think ~ 10 Euro monthly).
And as freeindeed said you join to "Trading The Market" discord group - a lot of useful info and helpful info and members! Enjoy!
Aren't those the guys that put out that odd Caan exposed vidfreeindeed wrote: ↑Thu Jul 11, 2024 12:02 pmThere are lots of good football trading videos made by "Trading The Market". I will say though that Discord itself is amazing for community building stuff, like posting daily P&Ls etc, has inbuilt alert systems, you can seamlessly hop in voice channels for events, or share screen and livestream with the click of a mouse button. I've basically been using Discord since it came out.
Always felt BA missed a trick there, you can only grow so much on a traditional phpBB forum, which is more designed for support.
Bit of 'noise' around TTM at the moment, questioning the strategies, honesty and integrity of the set up etc..... looking at it from afar it seems as though some marketing techniques have backfired on them and their closeness to Sports IQ is being exposed.
As always do your homework on whatever you are using to check the viability and reliability

It's tough enough managing what we have without adding to the mix, so that's why we never went down this route.
Also, we did build a 12,500 strong community on Facebook. Only for them to suddenly turn around and tell us it was against their terms and close the whole thing without warning.
It's just too risky to hand over your hard work to some goliath that does whatever it wants. Or suddenly says it needs £5k a month to or else you are out.

I used soccer scanner.net, think.its ok
But myself am looking for more live xG data in play, does anyone have any sites that cover that, especially for a broad range of leagues, not just the top ones...
