I ordered two teacups and saucers from IKEA, and popped over to the Co-op to collect them.
The size of the flipping package! They should warn you it requires two men to carry it home!
I guess they probably drop it from a sixth-floor window onto the delivery truck.

I have no idea of the profitably of your bot nor of the confidence you have in it. But I can take a view on Sir Kier’s ability to stop the boats and come to an assessment of it’s chances for success. And, no I would not expect an immediate reduction but there is nothing wrong with keeping score from Month 1 (unless you fear putting the ongoing score under examination).Derek27 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 9:24 pmThe question, I have a profitable bot, how long does it have to make a profit before I can be confident? springs to mind. All depends on what plans Starmer implements, but you can't expect him to reduce numbers in one month, especially after the mess the Tories left the country in. The NHS and prison system is probably a priority.

She didn't use the word "problem" or anything else that you've misleadingly quoted. As always, you read what you want, not what's in front of you. I've already explained, the majority of people interpret what she said differently from you. Haven't heard any public criticism of that phrase.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 4:49 pmThanks for clearing that up!Derek27 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 9:29 pmAnyone with a basic understanding of arithmetic can calculate what effect it would have on the other.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 9:19 amSo that £86,000 is nearly 8 times greater than £11,343 has nothing to do with it!![]()
. So Ms Reeves is saying “I can’t see your problem, yes, I had a problem when I was on only £86,000 pa but since my earnings increased to £150,000 pa I don’t think there will be a problem anymore!
. Life in Government is a lot more difficult than in Opposition

My god, the money tree is in full flow.
Train drivers to effectively get a 15% pay rise going back to 2022.
The average driver is already on £65,400 before this increase.
Train usage is still 38% down pre Covid. People have changed their habits and jobs to now work remotely.
Where is all this money coming from given that took away the winter fuel payment ?
There is no way tran drivers deserve that increase. No flipping way whatsoever.
Can’t wait for the next round of people demanding a pay increase.
WTF ?
New government has gone mad after 7 weeks in power.
