And the people that are complaining are nimbys. Suck it up, plenty have had their skyline disrupted.
Should have ignored the nutjob protests and embraced nuclear power like France. Look at their energy prices now.
The issues with nuclear are :
1. what do you do with the waste, how competent is that disposal and how much does it cost
2. whats the cost in lives and money if something goes wrong ie chernobyl, three mile island, Fukushima, sellafield.
Apart from that nuclear fission is a brillliant source of energy. Fusion will change the world, but I won't be there.
