In such a rich race I have never seen a jockey celebrate a win more than 50m from the WP like James McDonald did in the Cox Plate, I think he will get one heck of a fine, but I am sure he can afford it
One of the most extraordinary performances I've ever seen. The second horse Prognosis also broke the track record running second, beaten 8 lengths. She ran her last 1000m of the 2000m race in 57.6 seconds. for reference the 1000m Open Sprint was won earlier in the day in 57.44

After she dumped the jock mid week and ran 3 laps before capture, confident we'll never see anything like that again

It also looks like the Cox Plate will be the biggest race today on Betfair having matched £840k. The big race at Doncaster came closest, but still couldn't match The Valley in terms of interest.

I see he got fined $2k for the ride, small change for him in all fairness

Can anyone who trades Aust racing markets suggest a fast feed video supplier. ive been trading without any adequate video for too long now and often wonder how other traders can keep going when I have to green up at the official start time. I tried Racing.coms solution until i discovered its 20-25 seconds behind.

thanks

Are you in australia? The TAB app is nearly real-time.

Using a proxy / VPN to sign up to local service seems to be the best advice.

Thank you for the replies. Yes Anbell, I do reside in Aust (Tas). I have a VPN which I initially setup to trade tennis until Betfair noticed the discrepancy somehow. They made it clear that its illegal to trade tennis markets in play if you live here, despite my VPN indicating I was in London.
Bookies are no longer an option as I have either made too much and been warned off by means of stake limits or told to go away due to overusing the magnanimous 'generosity' of bookies stake returns for selections running 2nd or 3rd. There is a cookie commonly used by bookies if they wish to check out the sites you use in order to dissuade matched betting, etc, etc. which led me to discover 3 at one point.

So now I load guardian daily, remove NSW and WA races then settle in for a low volume trading experience for the afternoon. I have discovered that when you have to wait 30-40 mins for the next race due to the turnover tax and NSW, WA 10% it seriously affects discipline and leads to foolish attempts to trade way before any pro trader would ever consider doing so. The most viable option I can see is to become nocturnal in order to trade pre-off UK markets.

WA is in the same category as every other state except NSW

Thanks Anbell, you have been most helpful. I was under the impression WA on par with NSW. More markets to play with. Cheers!
