What a penalty-miss double, Mbappe and then Salad!
The fans thought Salad's went in.

I was so gutted by that. I had some money on there being a late goal so one minute I was up massively, then I wasn't.

Here's a visual of Man Citys' current form. Every team has a blip, so maybe, they'll turn it around....or maybe not...
Heading to their worst rating in 4 years with a drop of 75 Elo pts in 4 games. (not including the 3-3 Home game v Feyenoord)
Shipped 15 goals in 5 games, scoring 6.
Still top in Europe, but, maybe, not for long.

I'm a bit staggered about City's plummeting form.wearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 8:53 amHere's a visual of Man Citys' current form. Every team has a blip, so maybe, they'll turn it around....or maybe not...

I've concluded it's Pep. I'm convinced City's success has been driven (and I mean DRIVEN) by his obsessive, relentless desire to win.
If he's knocked off for some reason, the players can return to an easy life. And thats the way it looks to me.
For an ex defender to lose a lead like that must have stung him badly.
The next game will be absolutely massive. I, of course. don't want a revival on Sunday.

I'd love to see stats for teams trying to play out from the back, Southampton thinking they are 1970's Brazil just get it up to the big man bosh . Teams seem to believe playing it up they will loose the ball but loose the ball anyway trying to play out the way I look at it if/more the ball is in the opponents half it's harder for them to score against you and easier for you to score.
