Any issues with TPD today? I got through my allocation of races pretty quick this month, so not touched TPD for 10 days or so. I should have 8 races left this month according to the TPD settings section in BA. I’m being told, that I’m unauthorised to use tpd at the moment as I’m over my monthly allowance. The count is 442 of 450 races. Any ideas ?

Check your account usage on the TPD Zone account page. I find that is more accurate than the number appearing on BA.

Just Meydan and Jebel Ali accessible to Bet Angel users i.e. hosted on the Exchange.
Thanks. I'm new to UAE racing. Didn't include it in my TPD automations last year.

So Golden Gate Fields has closed permanently but a new track Golden State Racing has opened... Does anyone know if there's any connection between them? Will TPD be providing live data from this new track as they did Golden Gate, or are they completely separate entities?

Nothing to report at the present time I am afraid. Hopefully some news in the new year.

Pleased to report that Jebel Ali, a course in the UAE and one to which TPD now have the rights to the live data, has been added to the Bet Angel server config. Obviously BA Support cannot test this until Betfair next host a race - which should be Sat 16th Nov.
No data flowing in first race today @ Jebel Ali (UAE).

Re Jebel Ali - there are some logistical issues with our hardware suppliers which means that we will not be in a position to track races at the course until 30th November. This came as a bit of a surprise to TPD Customer Support and apologies to both Bet Angel subscribers and BA Support for not communicating this sooner.

Unfortunately we will not have any GPS data from Fakenham today - the Course Operator has been severely delayed due to the inclement weather.

Hi, is it possible to update the status json so the 'OK' can be read programmatically rather than relying on the notes when a course/race is not in fact 'OK'?

Edit: in addition was the lack of data received through the betfair stream anything to do with the incorrect time on the Lingfield 1110 race?

Hi - will feed the "Ok" comment back to the wider Team. But please be aware that this column is only applicable to the Course Operator being at the course (the circumstances which transpired on the day are unlikely to be repeated very often). Anything else which may affect live transmission e.g. problems with the course internet would be recorded in "Notes". Yes re the Lingfield race - the post time was changed at the last minute from 11.05 to 11.10.

Nothing in the first race at Jebel Ali again today.

An update re Jebel Ali - this is a long, protracted story but the short version is as follows. A senior member of the Jebel Ali course management team would not let the requisite tracking equipment (radio masts, repeaters etc.) be installed at the locations which would provide optimum transmission of the GPS data. We believe that the "dispute" has now been resolved and all should be fine for the next meeting.
