Hi Everyone,

I searched for existing topic relating my issue here, I did not find any therefor I opened a new one.

Can you guys please help me how to store the balance in excel sheet? Basically I want the excel to store the value of my balance after I placed my bet and after the market is settled.
The first is done, but I can not figure out the second.
What I have done is:
Trigger is always armed, allowing to action when market is suspended.
Conditions: market is NOT in play, market is closed.
Store a value with balance with NO adjustments.
I also added stored values in the main settings, typed the same names as in my automation rules.
The first one is working fine, it is in AG column, but the second one is just not working, after the betfair closes the market, the balance does not get updated.
Many thanks

It maybe that the balance has not updated, it may take a few seconds after the market has closed to update it. You could try adding a condition that looks for a different in the balance.

Rules don't run when the market is closed and settlement can be several minutes, even an hour later esp on close finishes or an enquiry. It might be easier to explain why you need this as there might be a better way.

You can run rules one time when the market is closed.

I’m not 100% but I think it’s just 1 refresh cycle.
E.g., You can’t fire a rule when its closed then another rule 5 minutes later. It all has to be done in one cycle of a rule triggering.

Didn't know that, but if races overlap or there's a photo then account balance when it closes might not mean much anyway.

Evening Lads,
Thanks for your feedbacks, I appreciate it. In the meantime I have resolved this.
Basically I (will) run autopilot excel football trading and what I will be doing is to store the balance value as soon as a match is suitable for my strategy and the market status is in play. Then place my bets and let it go and with the next event do the same, and just compare the two values. If the new one greater than the previous than I will know that it was winner. There are obviously risks if the betfair does not close the markets on time and update the balances, but it shoud appear rarely as I will include big leagues and under/over markets. I take this risk for now and see what happens longer term.
All the best

Dallas has a file that will store the p&L once the market has closed , this maybe better for what you're after.
viewtopic.php?t=25455&hilit=profit+and+loss+Dallas.

You could also use a rule called (export stored values). This will allow you to export the p&L straight to Excel.
