Is this the type of thing you were looking for?

The two blank cells being the current fastest and those outside the top 5 ranking by speed, obviously on a larger field there'd be a lot more blank cells each refresh
Hi Dallas,

Yep thats pretty much spot on! Thank you very much. I assume as well with the rules file you would be able to change the speed differences relative to each other? Would it be possible to send me that rules file so I can see how it works?

Thanks again
Just seen that position 1 is blank. Is there anyway to just rank the speed of the top 5 positions rather than ranking the speed of the entire field and excluding those out of the top 5 in speed and position. So in the example above it would be fastest = 30.18 (pos.5), followed by 29.01(pos.3) and 29.01(pos.4), then 28.61(pos.2) and 28.45(pos.1). Thereby excluding 30.47mph (pos.6) from the ranking as it is pos. 6 not 5.
Thankyou for the continued help Dallas.
I've set the rules to rank using their current speed as I though that's what you were after, but you could change the 'Custom rank speed' rule and have it reference the stored value named 'position' instead of 'speed'
you might have to change it back to 'ascending' as well

Hi Dallas,

Really appreciate all your help. I'm going to have a play with the files today and test them on some races! I'm sure I will learn a lot from them! I'll give your suggestion a go and try to find a way to rank the speed of just the top 5 positions rather than the entire field! Thanks again for all your help and I'll let you know how it goes!

All the best

Its currently only ranking the top 5 speeds and leaving the others blank, so changing that to rank by the stored value named 'position' will still only rank the top 5 positions and display their differences in speed

Hello Dallas, first of all, I want to congratulate you on the incredible work you've done with this configuration for TPD. This is incredibly valuable and promising. I have been running manual tests, and the results are very good in my trading.

I know I am new to the forum, but I will still dare to ask you for something, even if it requires payment—I am willing to do so.

I would like to have the color configuration of Speed Difference directly in the Mapbox GPS. In other words, I want to have the Speed Difference information displayed in Mapbox through colors. I’m attaching an image to help make this clearer since I don’t speak English and I’m not sure if this translation will be understandable.

I'm glad to hear you are finding them useful

Regarding displaying the speed in colours in the map box its quite straight forward to implement using the existing files you've already downloaded.

All you need to do is open your TPD tab in your main settings editor and use the options I've highlighted in the orange box below
TPD.jpg

Basically these are the same setting that push the data and colours into the 'Speed Difference' custom column, all you are doing is entering them onto the TDP map area

Sorry to ask a silly question but the speed difference in the marked column is the difference in current speed between that runner and the current leader in this race isn’t it?
I can’t understand why a runner would have a positive or negative distance. Surely ‘2’ would just mean that runner is 2 metres behind the leader?

Sorry to be thick!

Yes the speed difference is between that horse and the current leader, of which every horse will have a positive or negative value (unless currently traveling at exactly the same speed as the leader)
ie, The runner in last place may currently be travelling faster than the leader and therefore gaining so will have a positive value, if its negative its travelling slower and therefore losing ground

Hello Dallas, thank you so much for your response. I was able to set it up successfully. I couldn’t test it today, but I’ll let you know my results via DM or post them here on the forum.

I wanted to ask you one last thing, and I hope it’s not too much trouble. I’d like to add the columns for Stride Frequency and Distance Behind Meters (distance of the horses behind the leading horse). I’ve attached an image for reference.

Since that example was made (and a rules file was required to push the TPD info via a Stored Value into a custom column) the option to select the TPD information directly in the custom column editor has been added, so you just need to create/add two new custom columns to the 'Challenger' Grid profile you are already using and select the relevant data you want
