Trade of the year so far to lay Spurs after they scored, getting absolutely pummelled while the market was static.
However, replays indicated that the ball last touched Trossard. Under current rules, VAR doesn't review such situations unless the review is centered on goals or potential red cards.

To make matters worse for Spurs, Gabriel met the corner at the far post and nodded home off Dominic Solanke's midsection'.

VAR - what a load of 💩

Spurs got battered from start to finish any VAR decisions wouldn't have saved them. The only consolation I can offer Spurs
is that Arsenal don't have a proper centre forward or it would off been a lot worse. Big Ange is on thin ice IMO.

My gut says Postecoglou is heading for the exit, willingly.
This might be a masterstroke of psychology but his statement really made me take notice.

"If you give up now, there's no point. Right now we have a big game against Everton this weekend. That's our focus."

And for the record I like his style a lot. Great at Celtic. And look at the names that have been broken by Spurs recently. Nuno Espirito Santo.

Man City have extended Erling Haaland's contract to 2034...(unless a bigger offer comes along when the 130 charges kick in....)

Dennis Law "wasn't afraid to use his elbows"!

Is that a compliment or speaking ill of the dead. ;)

Back in the day being a striker was an invitation to get kicked. That was the modus operandi for defenders. George Best said he always left the field with bruises.
I liked Dennis Law. Quick. Sly. Great striker if you let him loose in the penalty area.

I can remember going to see an Arsenal v Man Utd game at Highbury where it was obvious that David Court was charged with sticking to Dennis Law like glue and not give him an inch of space. It was a very effective ploy, Dennis was marked out of the game except on 2 occasions when Court misjudged a couple of interceptions he intended and left Law's side ... Dennis scored 2 goals!

Liverpool were terrible again today, yet they go marching on.

Not sure how Nunez didn't see a second yellow for that awful challenge on Collins at the end.
