Losing Jockey Silks

I keep losing the jockey silks and then have to restart Bet Angel to get them back. I tried the alternative source but it's the same. Can you advise please?

The way the silks work is that the Betfair API provides the web addresses for each image and then Bet Angel has to download them one at a time from the Betfair servers. So when a silk is blank, that's either Betfair not serving the image properly or your PC being unable to download it.

If you run real-time internet security software on the PC, then try turning that off for a while to see if that helps.

Also, if you have a choice between WiFi and a cabled connection to your internet router then try using the cabled connection to see if that improves the silks download.

I keep losing them too. Are there any updated suggestions? Neither of those are the cause for me

I'm out and about most days and use the Betfair app a lot. I've noticed that quite often if I'm looking at a horse race market the jockey silks disappear. It seems to happen mostly just before the market goes in play.

It's friggin annoying! I have to quite Bet Angel which loses all my chart data!
