Can safely say City's Premier League campaign has ended today
I think Lewis-Skelly mocking Haalands goal celebration was very ill-judged. It made him look like someone that bers a grudge and at his age he's now earned a reputation that will haunt him. People now know they can get at him. Get a response from him. That's not good.
Gabriel laughing in Haaland's face after the opener, Lewis-Skelly celebration for his debut goal, Kendrick Lamar's "Humble" blasting after the match etc... surely your focus should be on your own performance and celebrating your own achievements rather than letting someone occupy space in your mind rent-free to that extent. If they lost that "grudge match" they would feel deflated like never before.
But it's all instigated by Arteta himself, he's known to (ab)use whatever quote or tweet to motivate his players, even in a negative and toxic way with not much regard for basic sportsmanship. His desperation to win is gradually twisting and transforming him into a Mourinho, both on and off the pitch.
Very flattering scoreline overall, all down to a brutal deflection that swung all the momentum. Ederson was sorely missed there, his German backup just not good enough for this level.
It's been a very tough season for Pep, losing the most important person on the pitch to injury and the most important person off it to divorce. Could get much worse still.
I found the whole thing just classless really from Arsenal, but not surprised at all the fans bought into it so readily.

That made me chortle simply because of the imagery.
For me, Arsenal have changed from flowing football but no backbone, to ugly and efficient. I wonder what the Gunners on here think.

I guess the calculation is the EPL position is most important. But a low block has not been Spurs MO.... er.... ever. They were mauled and offered no threat. Richarlison seems back on the injury list and seems to be dead weight to me. He's had so many chances.
We'll see what Spurs have got in the next few weeeks when Van de ven, Maddison, Vicario, Johnson, Udogie, Wilson, Werner and Romero return.
