I enjoyed this thread a great deal (so much so that I read it twice!) There are lots of thought-provoking comments in its pages.

I must admit, first time around I was awfully disappointed when you switched to automation, but I’m delighted to hear that you’re enjoying success, Goat.

Anyone reading this page as their first venture into this thread, it’s well worth going back to the start, irrespective of whether you’re automated or manual.

Probably 2/259ths.

The rest can give newcomers the impression that you have to move away from BA to do OK, which is clearly not the case. And if your skill set, interests and available time lend themselves to getting into bespoke software then you probably already know the options already.

All comes down to this really...

..... beating BSP is what you are trying to do so analyse that, the profit is a by-product.

Shaun is sort of correct, in that there’s no real answer to success in this game. The key is continually learning and understanding, and enjoying it along the way, there is no get rich quick answer.
Id say if you’ve gained positive motivation from reading this thread then that’s a win, and if you found it entertaining then that’s a bonus too
