Well, well, well ... yet another Labour MP (and senior and a Minister) has been found out lying in their career claims. It's not a matter of Right and Left, it's a matter of Right and Wrong! Is this what KS mean by bringing honesty back into UK politics!!!
This is just nonsense pettifogging though, isn't it? If the media are going to sell more clicks by pouring over every single thing every MP has ever written or done, they're going to find stuff. They would find stuff if they looked at any subset of population.

I'm very interested in policy. I am zero interested in CVs, expenses, and who drunk a bottle of wine when they shouldn't.

Strange how it's "pettifogging" when it concerns Labour but it was serious when it concerned Conservative MPs!

And interesting that the 'standing' of the people running the country is of no interest. I would prefer if the country was not being run by liars. If they see nothing wrong with lying about themselves how do we know they are not lying about their policies/intentions. Mind you that might explain a lot of the divide between Labour's pre-election pledges and post-election reality.

And the latest is that the production of films is more important to Labour than the production of food!

I've come to realise nobody has any idea how to effectively stop the small boats invasion, unfortunately

I am not even sure Farage could stop them.

There's no more to say about it.

That has been my view for ages but I don't see why those who were critical of others for failing to do so should not themselves be criticised when they also fail to do so having previously promised they would.

I think the answer is to stop them leaving French waters till they run out of fuel placing the rescue onus on the French. French fishermen would be ideally placed to do this by whatever means. Bounty of £1000 per migrant returned / UK water fishing permits as an incentive.

Labour/Tories are two cheeks of the same arse when it comes to stopping the boats.

Please don't go on moaning about it for another four years. 🥱

And Let's hope we gat a different arse in the next election 🍑 🍑 🍑

Well I apologise if I misinterpreted your comments, sorry ... but I stand by my point, maybe misdirected towards you. The Conservatives took years of criticism, mainly from Labour but now the roles are reversed Labour doesn't like it.
