2) I tried setting up my first automated rule, but it didn’t trigger due to the confirmation bet requirement. I found that it can be removed in the 'Behaviour' tab." (which can be scary to inactive). I will try again this weekend !
ALWAYS use Practice mode first when you're trying out automation changes. Just to make sure it functions as expected. And when you first run it live, only have the minimum amount of balance you need in your Main Wallet and temporarily move the rest to the Games or Poker Wallets.

A miscoded bot can spend a lot of money, fast.

Thank you for your advice about Practice Mode!
1) I noticed there isn't a direct switch button to toggle between modes in BA. Am I correct in understanding that I need to log out and log back in to access Practice Mode?
2) This means I can't run at the same time one rule in Practice mode while another one is in real mode, correct? Therefore would my data collection rule will be suspended while i am in Practice mode ?
3) Currently, I’m still struggling to get the automated rule to trigger. My previous attempt has failed…`
4) I understand that data can only be saved from 23:59:59 before and after the event. But how would you save data for longer-term markets, like the Winner League Champion or odds for a TEST match game, for instance ? Any tips on how to handle that?

You can run BA more than once and set each one to either practice or live.

Dear, I am experiencing significant challenges with automation and data collection on Bet Angel, and I would greatly appreciate your help.

1. ) Firstly, I’ve noticed that some of my matches are not being added, leaving blank lines in my guardian. This results in missing information and limits my ability to analyze effectively.

2. ) Secondly, the current process feels very slow and cumbersome. I find myself spending more time selecting and copying files than actually analyzing the data. Is there a more efficient way to handle this?

3. ) My automation rule did not trigger correctly in practice mode but did so in live mode—with unexpected results. I had set a lay bet to trigger once, 30 seconds before the event started. However, I ended up with two back bets triggered an hour before the event on incorrect selections, before I quickly stop the rule.

4. ) Lastly, I’m confused about why all my saved settings disappear whenever I log out of Bet Angel.

I have to go through my lists and disable bet confirmations every time I log in.

Thank you in advance for your support.

I am also working on an automation to save market prices for football. Get back to share it once I have something that works efficiently.

To kick-start your database you can get basic historial data from here https://historicdata.betfair.com/#/home
But if you're serious about this then record the api stream and you'll have the equivalent of the 'Pro' level data plus other features, for all market types and all sports.

Very interesting. How can I do that? Are you referring to record by capturing the screen? And what API stream ar you mentioning? Thanks for your reply.

In the meantime, I'm sharing a rule file that I used in the past and was working great. Capturing back odds for every Correct Score selection just before KO and saving those in a History List. From here you can import into an excel file each day for future analysis.

The Betfair api data stream, ie all the market info and price data send out at tick level. The raw data feed as per the 'Pro' historic data. Have a look for the Betfair developer program, sample code is on Github.

Thank you, @FTAcademy, for sharing your file!

Also, a big thanks to @ShaunWhite for the Betfair API Data Stream advice—it’s definitely a serious option for me. Is there more to learn about it?
I’ve seen people offering such set-up services on Fiverr, but their asking prices, seemed to me, ridiculously high, with no guarantees on the outcome.

The historical Betfair data is quite a white elephant. While it's reliable, it’s very time-consuming. I only use it when I’m missing some scraped data.

Is it possible that someone can get the Historical Betfair Data, as per the criteria attached? The service is not available in my country.

They're probably offering to setup software up but there won't be any 'outcome' if you're expecting some sort of strategy. That's your job.

The free historical data a white elephant, but the pro level, or api data you record yourself is priceless.

You can start to learn about it here
https://developer.betfair.com/exchange-api/ or here https://github.com/betcode-org/betfair

And to the forum Admin, .. I obviously don't want to breach any forum etiquette by mentioning other software but it's a very different thing rather than a competitor so I hope that's OK. If not then let me know and I'll respectfully stop mentioning the api.

Have you tried to break it down per year or a shorter period of time ? You may have some of it already saved in you "my datas" that make your new downloading failing.

I’m not talking about any kind of strategy; my only expectation is to gather odds data (in an accurate and easy-to-navigate way). I've had some rough experiences in the past with developers scraping data from the web. While I fully recognize that the data to be priceless, the price I paid for the final result was far from justified.
Thanks for sharing these links! They look both promising and a bit intimidating. I don't have the coding skills to work with an API myself, but I’ll definitely take a closer look.

You don't have them, yet. I know it's a steep hill to climb but nobody comes out of the womb knowing this stuff so it's a case of how much you want it.
