Hi Folks,
similar too but not the same as a previous suggestion.
I do a lot of development and testing of Guardian "bots" and had close to 400 events running over weekend, well in excess of 2k markets. This is way too much for one instance of Guardian to handle. No problem, I spread the load across multiple instances and all is mostly good.
But ...
Let say I have an event in two or more instances that use some of the same markets. There is but 1 logfile and that is for one lucky instance. The data I need to understand whether a "bot" functioned correctly could be lost. OK, I can hear you say, just combine "bots" that use common markets in to the same Guardian instance. I do this now, but it takes quite some time to organise the events, which are spread across several Excel workbooks in to an instance play-list. When I have several systems, all using "Match Odds" for eample, the load on a single instance starts to become an issue again.
It would really help if I could point Guardian Logs (and the other 2 folders?) to a custom named folder. In that way I could keep instance 1 for system A, instance 2 for system B and so on ...
or
Use an ordinal number if a log file of the same name already exists, like windows already does in some scenarios.
Thanks
Arthur
