Hi . I have just started using Guardian. Please can someone help me as I am going round in circles. I have looked at old forum posts and the training videos but cant seem to find an answerI have populated Guardiian with some horse racing markets and a football match. I have 2 different excel; multi tab spreadsheets set up. One for horses and one for football in order to manipulate the data. Am I correct in thinking that I cant have both spreadsheets open and connected to guardian at the same time. If I want to switch between tading the horses and football, I have to keep closing one down and open the other. Am I doing something wrong.
Secondly. I have linked the Guardian tabs with the tabs in my excell spreadsheet. I have renamed the tabs so they are meaningful. Everytime I close Bet angel down and reopen it I have to set up the spreadsheet links again. I tried using Bind, but that doesnt solve the issue. Any help would be appreciated
lastly. What is the G+ icon on Guardian. If I click it, nothing happens.
Thankyou
Bet Guardian Advice please
You can only connect one workbook at a time, so two separate spreadsheets can’t both be live. The usual workaround is to use a single workbook with multiple sheets – have a sheet for horses and another for football and pick the sheet you want for each market from the Excel column in Guardian. Guardian will bind one market per sheet, so if you’re loading loads of markets it’s worth using the BetAngel_Multiple template and the auto‑bind option to link them automatically. You can set a keyboard shortcut to clone the binding across selected markets if you’re doing the same thing a lot.
Renaming tabs is fine, but Bet Angel doesn’t remember those bindings once you close it, so you have to rebind them when you restart. Auto‑bind helps speed this up; just make sure your sheet names still start with "Bet Angel" so the auto‑bind function recognises them.
The G+ button just adds the market you’ve got open or highlighted into Guardian’s list. If nothing happens, you probably haven’t got a market selected or it’s already in Guardian.
Hope that clears things up. Once you’ve got your workbook set up the way you want it, it becomes second nature.
