Hi everyone,
I'm new to Bet Angel and automation, though I've been working through the training materials and documentation. I'm struggling to set up what seems like it should be a straightforward Guardian automation for football betting, and I'd really appreciate some guidance from the community.
What I'm trying to achieve:
I have developed a custom strategy that is laying four markets pre kick-off. All this leaves on my device and I have a few scripts running to calculate the stakes required for each bet. I'm hoping to use Bet Angel Automation to help with most of the bet placement.
The 4 specific markets on each game:
Under 2.5 Goals
Over 2.5 Goals
Both Teams to Score - Yes
Both Teams to Score - No
My requirements:
Timing: Place lay bets 3 hours before kick-off
In-play behavior: Keep any unmatched portions active during the match (don't cancel unmatched bets)
Odds limit: Never lay at odds above 3.5
Where I'm struggling:
Guardian setup: I can see how to create basic rules, but I'm not sure how to properly configure this so that it works with a predefined selection of games.
Market selection: How do I ensure Guardian automatically picks up all four of these markets for each football match? Do I need separate rules for each market type?
Stake integration: I have an algorithm that calculates the optimal stake for each market. What's the easiest way for a beginner to get these stake amounts into Guardian?
What I've tried so far:
I've watched the Guardian training videos and read through the automation guides, but I'm getting overwhelmed by all the different rule types and options. I've set up some basic practice rules but can't seem to get the timing and market selection working properly together.
Questions:
Are there any existing templates in the download section that might be close to what I need?
I'd be grateful for any step-by-step guidance or pointers to specific resources that might help with this type of multi-market football automation.
Thanks in advance for any help!

There are two markets, each market contains two selections.
You can either set up one separate rulefile for each market, or have one rule for both that uses the "market type" condition on every relevant line to distinguish between them.
Only add the markets from the games you want to trade in.
