Logical, but without any Welsh and Scottish seats it would be much harder to gain enough seats for a majority.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Fri Oct 24, 2025 11:20 amIt's difficult to apply this vote split to the whole of the UK because of the distortion of the Plaid Cymru involvement ... There is no 'independence' themed party in England. If there was some tactical voting (I'm not sure there was much other than the electorate thinking "OK, a vote for Labour is a wasted vote so if this is between Reform and PC I would prefer ...").

No, not at all ... the rich pay the most tax and they invest their money and create employment ... I tend to find those that criticise the rich have never risked their money and employed someone!
The very statement that the rich pays most of the tax underlies a system rife with inequality.I dont see how risking money and employing people should result in the assumption that the rich are a prerequisite to a civilised and functioning economy . Reports state that these parasites take £35 million a day out of our economy...if they are taking it out they are stashing in offshores .tico wrote: ↑

Without "the rich" we would be totally screwed.
But dont you think we are being totally screwed by the rich ?

I assume gambling’s a regressive habit. People like to think they’re taking money off the high-flyers, but it’s probably Dave from Sunderland’s universal credit. Anyone moral is gonna have a hard time trading well.

To complete a trade you have to offer better value than the rest of the market. Therefore you are always presenting the other guy with better value than they would have otherwise achieved.ruthlessimon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 6:34 pmI assume gambling’s a regressive habit.
