Feedback
OK, to make sure things were working as expected. I just ran a script on the six CL matches this evening. It placed 382 bets across all six and greened up before the off. On another account I backed the draw five minutes before the off and greened up five minutes into the match. All seemed to work as expected.
misterman, I'll get somebody to contact from support to look at your files.

Isn't it in beta testing still anyway? As far as I understand a beta release is not a full release and teething problems can be expected.

Euler
no doubt some will notice your AGAIN lack of response to point 1.
Not good testing at all.
with regard to the other point in yoyur reply..
not withstanding your lack of engagement with my other points in previous e-mails.
1.Where are the scripts, which buttons do I press to find them
2.How do I upload them
3. How do I export them
4. In what format
5. to here or to helpdesk
6. Where is the manual for doing this,so that I can follow it point by point,or indeed the betangel video
7. Are you calling me a liar
8. PLEASE tell me how you tested inplay footie without spotting the most obvious flawin automation betting in these markets.
9. Why should A CUSTOMER put up with this sort of treatment whereby they are ridiculed and made to feel inadequate, and justify themselves when they have paid for a service that has failed to deliver.

Hmmm,
Well, I saw from the announcement (viewtopic.php?f=29&t=5048) that the user guide was updated. A quick look and I see page 158 details how to export the files.
To upload to the forum you can see 'Upload attachment' when you are typing out a post.
By 'scripts' I think Euler means the rules files. Keep the format as they are I guess.
Post it here if you like. I'll have a look.
But there's no point in getting upset about it. We're all on the same side.

its not disrespectful
disrespectful is asking a question more than once, and getting no response, being lied to, and then being ridiculed..
see point 1 re in play football trading
disgusting...
its called accountability...
how can any self respecting company say they tested something when the most obvious flaw is not addressed but disguised...
they cant have ever tested in play football tading at all, or if they did they lost a lot of money and thought... so what.. !!!
im on the side of honesty and integrity...

That's unfair. We are friendly bunch here on the forum all trying to help each other out and move forward and that applies to our whole team including support. I just don't get what is going on here. We are trying hard to help you but it's just not working for some reason.mister man wrote:disrespectful is asking a question more than once, and getting no response, being lied to, and then being ridiculed..
If you want some help in looking at your automation, we are pefectly happy to help you but, again, we need your rules files and need to replicate what you are seeing before we can comment on them. You must realise that we are pretty powerless to respond to questions on your automation if we can't replicate what you doing. I know it can be frustrating trying to learn some new software but we have tried our best to help and with things like the practice mode you can play around risk free. We are concious that beta versions are not without potential issues but that is why we are keen to get to grips with any issues anybody is seeing. We need to know if it is an issue with interpreting the way things work or something else.
Thank you to those that have given feedback already, we are pleased to already be working on the suggestions you have put forward.
Hi, I would like to see if possible a few things added .
1. A condition triggered on the size of your bank,so you could leave it running knowing if things went wrong, part of your bank was safe.
e.g. trigger if bank greater than €1000.
2. A condition triggered by comparing price of selection to another selection.
e.g. say I wanted to back the favourite if the odds are less than 2.0 and if the price of the second favourite greater than 10.0
3. A condition triggered on the green all profit value relative to total matched amount, where it triggers if green all profit value reaches a percentage loss of total matched bets.
e.g. lets say my total matched bets amount to €100, and I want to green up if the green all profit value is less than -(50% of mathched bets). So if I'm €50 in the red, green up. The same for in profit, say green if profit is 150% of matched amount.
4. A rule type for greening individual selections, not all.
5. A double my bank button
.
Cheers, kojack23.

I've already implemented my own automation on a spreadsheet, so I'll probably stick to that for the time being since I know for sure I've ironed out all the bugs. Just some of the features my spreadsheet has that the BetAngel team might consider:
*Bet as a percentage of bank, and set different % liabilites for back and lay
*Market volume condition for entry
*Specify price ranges
*Advanced variations on books such as:
-delete particular selections from book (lay all except one)
-lay all except one, back that one instead
-set max price for book (lay all up to cut-off price)
--
I should also issue a warning to other folks, learned from hard experience, that even when the software is working as it should, automation is a very tricky thing, you really need to have some understanding of implementation details of BetAngel and Betfair to be sure it doesn't do something you didn't except.
Another problem with automation is that it can be exploited if other people figure out what you are doing - unless you have a clever bot to ensure it doesn't fall prey to market manipulators trying to offer false prices.

Would you care to comment on the testing you alledgedly did on this.
Friendly, maybe outwardly, honest !!!!! ????my royal family...

No reply i see...
cant sleep im so distraught at whats happened to me.
Heres a challenge to you betangel.
To prove you havent tested this product adequately, if at all on inplay football, nor given sufficient guidelines as to its usage.
I will trade any 10 football 1x2 markets, and any 10 correct score markets of your choice, tomorrow on 1 outcome 1,x,or 2 of your choice, and one outcome correct score of your choice, back or lay of your choice, for 20 minutes constantly, time start and end of your choice with an offset of your choice, the only condition i make is that the automation will trade constantly.I will send inmy results and scripts for verification.
I gaurantee that I will fall foul of the fact that their is not a means of not betting for any time period after a suspend (as discussed on this thread)
I further gaurantee that the losses made on this or these eventualities, because the bot/automation has taken false odds put up by scam merchants immediately after a suspend goes back in play, even if its only one occurance, will be greater than the profits made from the other 19 or less outcomes of profit, and that the p&l on this exercise will be negative.
So confidant am I that this will expose the laughable testing, if any that must have happened of this tool on inplay football markets that I will, If this does not happen, i personally will declare naked in trafalgar square, that, elvis is alive and working in a chip shop, the queen is a transvestite, and betangel did as asserted by euler on this thread thoroughly and adequately test the automation tool on in play football markets.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it, there is no need to be distraught either, we are trying to help. If you want to engage in a constructive dialogue then we can help you but at the moment we are not really getting anywhere and still haven't seen any of your rules files.mister man wrote:cant sleep im so distraught at whats happened to me.
We have indicated repeatdly that we are happy to look at new elements that will help you achieve what you want, but there will always be limitations based on the fact Betfair don't flag when there has been a goal. Therefore you need to write your rules to take that into account. It's as simple as that.
For example, here is a rule that backed the draw before the off and greened up after five minutes: -
